Angel Trumpeters shines with 23.5k shell gold, creating an “ILLUMINATION”. These angels were inspired by Medieval imagery found in Illuminated Manuscripts. I used an ancient recipe in making the Egg Tempera paint, and hand ground various dry pigments dug from the Earth into the egg yolk mixture. The painting comes mounted on light brown acid-free paper with a cream-colored cut mat board. The interior measurements of the mat board are 7.5” x 9.5”, and the exterior measurements are 11” x 14”.
A clear plastic sleeve protects the art piece.
My personal wax seal is affixed to all ILLUMINATIONS.
