Three Wise Men depicts the Wise Men following the Star to Bethlehem. The fanciful style of Medieval Anglo-Saxon art is exhibited in the colors of the horses, in pinks and blues, and the bright pigments of authentic Egg Tempera paint. 24k double gold leaf makes the image an “ILLUMINATION”. The Wise Men point to the Star, depicted outside of the boundaries which heightens its importance as an other-worldly occurrence.
The artwork is mounted on brown acid-free paper. A cream-colored mat board encloses the piece, with interior measurements of 9.5” x 7.5” and exterior measurements of 14” x 11”.
A clear protective plastic sleeve covers the art.
My own personal wax seal is affixed to each ILLUMINATION.
